Just about a month ago I attended a flower arranging workshop at Design Love Fest. The class was super fun and a great source of inspiration for what I expect to be many beautiful arrangements to come. This class was not heavy on the note taking but it was high on creativity.
We had a large variety of color coordinated blooms to choose from... The huge basket of elder flower was my favorite thing in there, even though the space was full of beautiful flowers, I loved the simplicity of it.
We started with greenery and fillers to get the shape of our piece and anchor it, then added blooms to put in the pop of color and beauty, finally we added additional filler and flowers to finish off the shape.
My piece was low profile and asymmetrical.
My sister went for more height in the center and more variety.
Every single arrangement was gorgeous in the class!
